What is our vision?
We saw a significant need to modernize how mental health therapy is conducted for the therapist and the client. It is evident there is a need for this service in today’s world, where many people are unable to get mental health treatment due to stigma and lack of access.
We created Traverse Talk so that anyone can have access to quality therapy through video chat at their convenience. Our goal? To make it easier for people who are seeking help but don’t know where to find it. Our virtual therapy platform permits everyone to find a therapist based on the patient’s need and not just someone within driving distance.
The lighthouse is a symbol of stability, direction, and even awakening. Our team is like the reliable light that shines from a lighthouse. Visible in all weather conditions, it provides stability and guidance just as it does for sailors lost at sea. Just as it guides us through storms with its consistent glow when all is well, so too do your core values lead you forward no matter what’s going on around you or how dark things get inside your head.
What’s in our name
Traverse: a route or way across or over.
Traverse your mind with a therapist as you explore the terrain of your thoughts. Take a journey to discover how to traverse this life in the best way possible.
Most of us can agree that the past few years have been tough. Our world has changed, and the way we experience healthcare has to change with it. More than ever before, we need a new paradigm for how we help people heal.
Our main goal is to provide clients with accessible mental healthcare, but we also make sure the experience of being mobile is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Traverse Talk recognizes how difficult finding accessible care can be for people struggling with mental health. We specialize in providing our clients accessible and high-quality care while offering a personalized service that makes each patient feel like they’re our only customer.
Hi, We Are Jim & Traci Seery.
Hi, I’m Traci, one of the co-founders of Traverse Talk. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist and have been providing mental health services to many different people from all walks of life since 2012.
In 2015, I started teletherapy; this has helped me reach more people who need help but can’t come into my office. It’s also allowed me to work with couples who live far away from each other due to military service or job transfers.
My husband, Jim, is an experienced manager in large technology companies, so he brings specialties in current technologies to create more innovative work processes and build sustainable solutions. Together, we are building something new to provide access to mental health in a modern way!
In our free time, we enjoy spending time with our daughter and our grand-dog. We spend our time boating, biking, traveling, and cooking together. We are often found where there are palm trees and blue water.
